Come to Your Own Existence: Self-Breema Class - 9:00 am - 9:45 am

Self-Breema exercises teach us body-mind connection through the registration of breath, weight, and movement, giving us support for being present. Coming to the present moment, we can taste unity, as body, mind, and feelings work together. This class features instruction and practice of Self-Breema exercises via Zoom.

Dholrhythms Bhangra Dance Class - 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Experience Dholrhythms Bhangra class-one of the happiest, most vibrant, beautiful and energetic folk dances of Punjab, India. Experience lively and uplifting movements that will get your heart pumping, shoulders bouncing, and leave you smiling from ear to ear while breaking a sweat. It's a joyful release and a happy workout.

sjDANCEco's 22nd Annual Spring Dance Festival - Day 1 - 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join sjDANCEco in bringing together over 60 different choreographers to the stage with TWO FULL days of FREE dance.  

Dancing ranges from youth to professional, Hip-Hop to Ballet, Cultural to Contemporary. This two day event will have something for everyone in the family.

Along with performances, join us for FREE dance classes on the hour, every hour.

BASE Residency Showcase    - 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Join us at 1:00pm for our 2024 "BIPOC Artist Sanctuary & Enrichment Program"  showcase the ParksAt5M (outside of 447 Minna Street) !

The BΛSE Residency engages 5 early-career dance and performance BIPOC & QTBIPOC teaching artists in artistic and pedagogical activities that empowers them to engage with their community at large, lead performance workshops, and ultimately create a final performance.

Inspiration for Perspiration- Outdoor Dancing in North Berkeley - 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Since 2022 we've been gathering every week to dance outdoors! There's plenty of space to dance however you like in a special cul-de-sac with shade and sun and no traffic. A diversity of upbeat, uplifting music for the duration, coming from an outdoor sound system.
Get and give dancing inspiration, and enjoy some perspiration if that's your aim.
All ages, all people welcome.
