This is the water park inside of California's Great America. Our family has a routine for this park. Arrive when the park opens, go to the water park and get a locker for your beach bag. Go have fun on some rides. Come back between 12 to 3, change into your swim suits and get wet, keep cool, splash to your hearts content. Big water slides, lazy river, wading pool for small kids, wave pool. A little shop for anything you forgot. Changing rooms are well located. Place all wet swim suits in your towels, in your beach bag, back into the locker. Go eat lunch/Dinner. Ride more rides. Have a great time. Get your beach bag out off the locker before you head home.

Went on a 95 degree day for the kid’s waterslides. They were all closed because of a lack of workers the girl said. There were 10 lifeguards around the lazy river and wave pool but they couldn’t move a couple to the kids slides? Really disappointed. Also the lifeguards told me I could not take my phone near the pool. I asked why and they told me I might drop it and it will get wet and ruined, that I needed it in a waterproof bag. 1. It is my phone. 2. They have been waterproof for the last five years. Just a strange place. Made me realize how much more magical Disney is. These guys just miss the point that it is all about making the guests happy. Felt more like they were doing me a favor by being there.

Family friendly and safe atmosphere. Such a good price for the amenities. Just wish there were better options for food and beverages.

Visited in late spring. Wave pool is laughably. weak. Lazy river was not running. Staff gives the same safe excuse, “we don’t know when it will be up again” over and over. Staff is incredibly pleasant, as they are mostly youths in need of a job. The water slides were pretty cool. Not enough places to refill my souvenir bottle.
