As the United Church of Christ of La Mesa (UCCLM) we strive to:
Love and understand the spirit of God as communicated through the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Grow with one another by accepting, supporting and loving through worship, service and fellowship. Demonstrate our faith through active involvement in our community and the world in all its diversity.
Our Vision
We want to be and to be known as an extravagantly welcoming, theologically progressive, justice and service committed, youth engaging congregation in East County San Diego.
We build on our long-standing commitmenbt to these four strengths of UCCLM. We invest in each of these core values, as all are necessary for us to be the church we need to be, serving God in this community. We live as a community of abundance, not of scarcity, and we let everyone know we are here, ready to meet their and the community’s needs.
