Vaquero Cellars was Jim and Elaine Pollard's long time vision and today is a family-owned and operated winery dedicated to the creation of high end premium crafted wines.
We originally envisioned planting a vineyard on our property, but came to realize the central coast is already producing some of the finest fruit on the world market.
We knew then, and are now positive that great wine is attributed to great grapes and a masterful winemaker. We approached Jim Porter who is well known and respected on the Central Coast as a connoisseur winemaker.
Vaquero Cellars Syrah is a blend of three vineyards in Santa Barbara County.
