Storyland is basically just a cute little playground to take your small children to. You can really tell this place was built long before modern playground safety regulations took effect, judging by the merry-go-round, wooden and metal slides, metal sprung teeter-totter, etc. It all has this very old-timey charm. I probably wouldn't recommend it to children over the age of 7, it wouldn't be particularly exciting for them, seeing as it's basically a massive playhouse for children to play pretend in.

I love Playland! That old dragon rollercoaster was/is my fav! Write to our city councilmen/women and tell them to bring back Rotary Playland! My kids would love that!

My kids loved this place. We were the only family there for a while (cold day) and the 3 characters roaming the park practically babysat my three children for a few hours. My kids were in heaven sword-fighting a pirate on his ship. Looking for granny with red-riding hood, and rolling down the hill with sleeping beauty. Well-maintained. Very similar to Fairyland in Oakland, but so much more well-maintained and clean.

Very fun, and magical place for little ones, six and under. Kept my grand child busy for hours, the train ride caps off the visit.
