Missouri Street Theatre is a professional, non-profit arts organization dedicated to educate, enrich, and entertain the lives of people of all ages. Missouri Street Theatre encourages excellence and appreciation of all aspects of the performing and visual arts by partnering with professional artists and integrating arts both on stage and in the community.
Since opening its doors in 2004, Missouri Street Theatre has produced and housed many award-winning productions in its intimate, sixty-seat blackbox theatre and its more spacious main stage. Missouri Street Theatre prides itself on putting up quality productions that allow patrons to save a trip to see an expensive show in the city.
Missouri Street Theatre has been an established, award-winning youth theatre company from the beginning, but its professional division is quickly expanding as well. Under Managing Director and Producer, Pam Spering, and Artistic Director, Dae Spering, Missouri Street Theatre produces approximately three mainstage, professional productions, which are often performed at the Fairfield Center for the Creative Arts (FCCA) stage.
As well as producing well-known plays, Missouri Street Theatre also dares to be different by bringing cutting-edge theatre to Solano County. In addition to the regular youth and professional productions, locals can also enjoy poetry slams, jazz music nights, original music performances, open mic nights, live comedy improv, and staged readings at the Missouri Street Theatre venue. The entire staff strives for the best experience for all of the patrons and performers. Join the thousands of people who have enjoyed what Missouri Street Theatre has to offer and see what you have been missing - right in your own backyard!
