Los Angeles Bread Festival

317 South Broadway

Grand Central Market creative director Joseph Shuldiner, who is also founder and director of the Institute of Domestic Technology, the Los Angeles Bread Festival will be an opportunity to experience the many flavors of L.A. bread through an assortment of pop-ups, workshops (including a community bread bake hosted by Autostrada), demonstrations, and moderated panel discussions such as "Field to Table," an exploration of the L.A. bread movement from the perspective of local farmers, millers, bakers and chefs.

Hands-on family friendly activities will include "Feel the Churn Butter Aerobics," a participatory butter-making/aerobic class, tortilla-making, sourdough starter 101 and more.
