The California science center is a great place for the kids. They have satellites to parachutes, the space shuttle Endeavour their. Right now they have the tour of king tut you could view. So many educational things their that has to do with science. You could experience the earthquake room, about electricity. Fun for the whole family. This place even have an imax theater. Right across from it as your going in or out the African American Museum also. To see Endeavour it's only $3.00. With a gift store right their to purchase souvenirs. Great place looking forward to going back again. My 11yr old was in ah especially because he wants to be an astronaut. So this really motivated him.

There is so much to do and see! We came for the King Tut exhibit and ended up spending several hours exploring the rest of the museum. The King Tut exhibit was great. The way they space out the groups going though made the experience better. There were enough people in the exhibit but we were not all fighting for space. The rest of the museum is great! If you haven’t already seen the space shuttle exhibit you need to go! I never realized just how big it really was! They have a great history of the shuttle program from when they were created to launch day to how it ended up in Los Angles.

Fun museum. At the time we saw the traveling King Tut show which was awesome. The space shuttle endeavor is there full time and costs extra but very cool and worth it. I'd also recommend the Imax movie. The food court is reasonable and a lot of variety. It was a bit chilly inside so if you get cold easily I'd wear layers. Fun day trip!

Been coming here over the years and it never gets old! Recently visited to check out the Endeavor and King Tut! Lots to learn. Come prepared as the parking only takes cash! (Surprisingly). I am guessing the Endeavor exhibit is permanent now and they've done a great job at building it while keeping the public interested.

This place is amazing! See the Endeavor display - a must. The entry is free and adding 2$ tickets you get to see the space shuttle exhibit (but yes, the parking is 12$). Now in summer this place is visited by tens of camp classes a day. They just keep coming in, one after the other. Yet, the place is so big and so well maintained that it is not a problem. Come early as you can to minimize the crowds. In side the space shuttle exhibit see parts of the space shuttle and descriptions/movies giving more insight. There is a simulator for 6$, the kids said it was boring - skip it. Seeing the Endeavor and it's engine was mind blowing. We had a great time even more than the kids.
