The California Institute for Chinese Performing Arts (CICPA) is a non-profit organization established in 1994 by Rosana Hsu, President of CICPA. Our mission is to promote Beijing Opera and other traditional Chinese opera culture in the United States, and to foster Chinese-American cultural exchange. Every year, we invite numerous artists from China to perform in the United States, and all proceeds from these performances are donated to charities. Furthermore, our institute provides stage and rehearsal space for various Chinese opera artists, traditional dancers, and martial arts classes.
