About Us:

The Ben Lomond Mountain AVA (American Viticultural Area) is located in Santa Cruz County, CA on the Western edge of the Santa Cruz Mountains.  Vineyards were first planted on the mountain in the 1860's, but the area did not become famous for Pinot Noir until the 1970's.  The four by sixteen-mile AVA reaches altitudes as high as 2,600 feet above sea level, placing it above much of the fog that rolls in from the Pacific Ocean, ensuring long hours of sunlight.

The elevation and ocean proximity ensure a cool climate, where grapes can ripen over an extended growing season.  Wines are highly structured, have good minerality and are extremely age worthy.

Merlot was great, rest of flight was on the poor side and it seemed overpriced. However I'm not a native of the area so I can't really comment on price terribly well. I should have tried the reserve flight. I'd give it 3.5 stars of I had that option.

Our family has enjoyed many days relaxing on the lawn with a picnic lunch and delicious Beauregard wine. A truly beautiful gem in the Bonny Doon mountains.

Just after moving to Bonny Doon, we saw signs for Beauregard Vineyards Tasting Room and Winery. When we stopped in to check it, it was unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Hopefully, this oversight has been corrected. If it has not been corrected, please do so.

Been going to the Vineyard for years! I am also a club member. Nothing but positive experiences and amazing wines.
