Fourth of July Celebration

Join us on July 4, 2023, as we celebrate Independence Day at the park. California’s Great America is the perfect place to celebrate with family, friends, great food and of course, dazzling 4th of July fireworks.

After a day of riding roller coasters and having a splashing good time in South Bay Shores, sit back, relax, and enjoy our spectacular 4th of July fireworks display set to a patriotic soundtrack in the skies above the Flight Deck rollercoaster. The best spots to see all the action are at the midway plaza in front of Flight Deck or in the Redwood Amphitheater. Enjoy fireworks at park closing at 9:00 p.m. accompanied by a patriotic soundtrack.

Celebrate Independence Day Great America style on July 4th! Enjoy a backyard cookout with delicious food, refreshing beverages and family fun.  Plus, all your favorite rides and attractions - including South Bay Shores Waterpark - will be running from sun up to sun down. When the sun sets, get ready to be amazed by Great America's spectacular fireworks show at 9:45pm that will light up the night sky and thrill the young and the young at heart. You'll have the best seats in the house with an exclusive viewing section at the Pavilion. Don't miss out on the best day of summer at California's Great America.
