So were on a road trip to the home of the golden gate. The food was great and it wasn't bad chicken pot pie for around 15 dollars? Wow wee! Just get the pea soup its good and not bad just right better then what some people might choose as an option for a road trip, just a simple burger from the stupid Jack in the box. Eat here if your going from the "city of angels" to the bay area not some dirty fast food place. This location is off the 101 and another location off the Interstate 5 if your taking the 5 to SF go to the Pea Soup Anderson's its great and not dirty and it looks like its a old place but it is clean.

Andersen's Pea Soup is a very good place to enjoy a great meal. The five of us had different meals all first class. I had a fruit platter. I received a large platter with pineapple, honeydew, cantaloupe, tangerine, watermelon, and grapes. More than I could eat. This is the first time I didn't have the great pea soup. Another great lunch at Andersen's enjoyed by all. The staff is always courteous and served at a fair price.

Truthfully the food isn't that great. It's not going to blow your socks off, but the draw is the decor and atmosphere. This place has been around forever and really has that old world feel. To be fair the split pea is good, but you won't remember the food years from now, you will remember the decor and outrageousness

Very strange shop with tons of eclectic stuff, great for kids and souvenirs. There's a section that's Christmas all year round which is interesting lol. The pea soup is the best, the rest of the food is okay. But it is not wheelchair accessible (🙄)and is difficult for people who may have mobility issues as there are stairs to get to the entrance and the upper mini-museum.

An awesome family restaurant with great soup and a lot of choices. The Danish sausages were also very good. A road-trip classic, I can't wait to come back!
