Open: Year Round

Seavey Vineyard is a small, family-owned winery that focuses primarily on Cabernet Sauvignons. In 1979, William and Mary Seavey purchased the historic estate originally founded by the Franco-Swiss Farming Company in 1881.  In 1981, William Seavey restored a prized, historic mountain slope vineyard in the heart of Napa Valley, with original vine plantings by the Franco-Swiss Cellar dating back to 1871.Today  their 200-acre cattle ranch and vineyard property embraces its rustic 1881 stone barn as the winery.

This vineyard produces some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay. It was originally a horse and cattle ranch until it was purchased by William and Mary Seavey. Utmost care and precision goes into the making of the wines. The hand-picked grapes are transported to the winery immediately within 30 minutes. The grapes are then hand sorted and kept in small tanks for fermentation. Then the wine ages for 18-19 months in French oak barrels. This quaint winery is open for tastings by appointment only.
