The AuburnJames Winery was born in 2005 with the first crush of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the Raywood Vineyard in Napa Valley and a handshake between Matthew Ospeck and winemaker James Frost.AuburnJames wine is produced from small lots that are handcrafted to bring out the most fruit has to offer. A lot of time is spent in the vineyards making sure the fruit is being managed properly and is harvested at the optimum time to get the right blend of ripeness and acidity. At AuburnJames, they produce small quantities of artisan California wines. Most of the processing is done by hand under the meticulous care of our winemaker, Jim Frost.
