The Benicia Historical Museum at the Camel Barns is located in the heart of the historic Benicia Arsenal district, and shares the story of Benicia’s place in the history of California – and how this history relates to the development of our country pre- and post statehood. “The history of California is written in the story of Benicia”
The Museum's main exhibit area is open Wednesday through Sunday, 1pm to 4pm. Admission is $5 for Adults, $3 for Seniors 60 and over and Students, $2 for children 12 and under, and active and retired military personnel with ID are admitted free. In addition, on the first Wednesday of every month admission is free.
