Arcata Fairy Festival

Two years on, three years off, and this year Fairy Festival returns!

We invite you to join us in celebrating the whimsical and fantastic on Sunday, June 4 at the Arcata Plaza. We're delighted to to create a special place for children, families, artists, and all of our community.

Bring a little magic in all you do, dress up, and keep believing! This year's festival is made possible by working with Redwood Raks Collective, the non-profit community dance space in Arcata's Creamery District. We are excited to have great music, dance, lounges, play areas, a costume contest, amazing art vendors, food booths supporting local schools (Coastal Grove Charter School, Trillium Charter School, Mistwood Educational Center, Jacoby Creek School Aftercare Program, and lots more! There will be TWO stages... the Enchantment Stage and a Storytelling Stage, the Emerald Aerial Collective performing three shows, a costumed procession led by the 36' Calypso the Dragon, the Lost Coast Flow Fusion group with a twilight Fire Show to finish off the day, and so many surprises around every corner!

Come ready for the HumLARP Boffering Arena, and BRING YOUR CUP (we won't have any) for this splendid Zero-Waste event. You might even win a prize for a really amazing decorated goblet or chalice!
